  1. Prepare the Lentil Mixture:

  2. Shape the Loaf:
    • Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it down firmly and evenly to ensure it holds its shape while baking.
  3. Make the Maple Glaze:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, ketchup, and mustard until smooth.
  4. Glaze and Bake:
    • Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the loaf.
    • Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the loaf is firm and slightly golden around the edges.
  5. Cool and Serve:
    • Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing.
    • Serve warm with mashed potatoes or a side salad. Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired.
