Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Wash and cut the broccoli into florets. Dice the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with paprika, black pepper, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté Aromatics: In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if needed. Sauté the garlic and onion for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Cook the Broccoli: Add the broccoli florets to the skillet, along with chicken broth. Cover with a lid and allow the broccoli to steam for 5–7 minutes, or until tender but still crisp.
  5. Combine: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, tossing to combine with the broccoli and aromatics. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Optional Cheese: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and mix until melted and creamy.
  7. Serve: Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
